I have coughed (and continue to cough) so much that my lower left back constantly hurts as if the muscles beneath my skin have been stomped on and bashed in. My extreme coughing fits have apparently strained my muscles a great deal. It is as if this area should be all black and blue because that is how it feels. Will this ever end? This has been the longest week of my life.
