It's so early in the morning. 7:27 to be exact. Kurt Vonnegut's Welcome To The Monkey House is swimming in my head. My last day working at the bookstore will be on November 24. As of now, I barely work three days a week. I cannot stand organizing all those books anymore. You clean and fix. Then the shelves are in ruins in a matter of moments. There are the customers who don't put books back, who leave PILES of books anywhere and everywhere. The stories of wildly ignorant and stupid customers (which frustrate us to no end but makes us howl with laughter and disbelief). The stories of mean, impatient, and rude customers. I refer to most customers as wicked savages and heathens. Hehehe. But really, some of them ARE. Etc., etc., etc. Wasted effort in my opinion. So au revoir, ciao, and adios! Good riddance.

My baby. My little one is resting and growing quietly. I had another prenatal check-up on Friday. I am around 14-15 weeks along. Listening to our baby's rapid heartbeat is the sweetest thing imaginable. I wish to hear those sounds forever. Everytime I go into work, my co-workers take a peek at my belly and say, "You're showing more every time I see you!" I adore this. My unborn baby is like a miniature star.

On today's menu : Matt and I are bringing David (and possibly my mother) to watch Monsters Inc. at the theater. My little boy is so excited, and so am I...the movie looks so cute and funny...and I am SUCH a HUGE Toy Story and Toy Story 2 fan and addict. Lots of popcorn and bubbly soda. The most intoxicating part of a movie theater -- the warm toasty fragrance of popcorn that gently caresses your senses when you first walk through the entrance. It is fabulous and priceless. It is a promise of what is yet to come. Oh yes, I will be secretly hoarding lots of Twizzlers and Sour Patch Kids gummies in my purse...because I am a rebel who doesn't like to pay so much for all that candy at the concession stand. Hehehe. I am evil.

Matt. Matt. Matt. He is mine and I love him. It is quite nice. My man to kiss 'n cuddle.

My armor nowadays : Men's black Adidas with white stripes (which are so gorgeous and amazingly comfortable -- I glide on air in them). Tight black flared pants (Yep, the fabric hugs my slowly portruding midsection). Dark blue fitted GAP denim jacket. My soft pink kitty hoodie. Translucent red lip gloss. I feel pretty nowadays. Most of the time anyway.
