Mmm.
Matt and I just returned from a long visit to the Borders Bookstore.
They have a much wider selection of anything and everything than Barnes 'N Noble. A large Young Adult section and a Crafts section and so many other wonderful things. The atmosphere is not as tranquil and serene as Barnes 'N Noble, but who cares? I'll just visit both stores for the best of both worlds.
Matt bought me a HUGE hardcover book on paper crafts. It is so beautiful with over 2,000 brilliantly colored photographs and 300 step-by-step paper projects (collage, gift boxes, lanterns, origami, bookmarks, and incredibly so much more). I was so excited when I spotted the book and yelped gleefully, "I MUST have this!!!" I could not believe all the unique things you could do with paper. I love being crafty. I love handmade treasures.
We grabbed a flyer at the bookstore announcing an all-day Blues Music Festival this weekend. Matt and I will go to the Saturday show. I can't wait!!!
