Semi-literary entry ahead.
I finished reading Stargirl tonight. It had some sweet moments...moments where I smiled blissfully at the reality of adoration and love. It had moments of gorgeous silliness. It had moments of truth. The moments never lasted long enough though and I was thus a little disappointed throughout the story. I didn't like the author's style of writing too much...sometimes I found myself skipping some dry and boring paragraphs. But, those sparkling moments I mentioned were indeed sparkling...spectacular in a subtle and quiet sort of way. It was worth reading the entire book for those shining excerpts.
I finally received Pride And Prejudice in the mail today. It looks interesting...I mean, hell, it is a classic. It'll be the first classic I have read in ages. I don't typically crave books in the classic genre much. I wonder if I can read through the entire book. You know me...I love sex, gore, romance, danger, rebellion, weirdness and such in my books. But, I will give Pride And Prejudice a chance.
But not just yet with the classic. I want to read I Was A Teenage Fairy first. I'll be starting that book tomorrow.
And...the journal layout by Aella has inspired me to read through my Alice In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass book. I love those stories. Magical. Hilarious. Bizarre.
Too many books. And not enough time. Lucky and unlucky, you know?
