Sometimes I wish M. and I could have met when we were children.
Sometimes he wishes for that as well.
We could have grown up together.
We could have attended the prom together.
Instead, we met each other when we were both 21.
We have the rest of our lives to catch up with each other.
And I would not have it any other way.
