I just about blushed in embarrassment. Actually, it was more of a No way...oh my God!! type of reaction. I checked my Bravenet counter statistics and saw this as a referrer.
Now, here is the previous entry explaining the source of my girlish nervous giggles.
I cannot believe someone searched for Granville Ganter on Google.com. And ended up on my page. That person must have got some amusement out of my entry. Can you imagine it...some student probably was just looking for literary works by Ganter (or some situation like that) and found my page. It's kinda funny. And yes, I really DID blush a little when I first saw that referral statistic. When I saw it, I irrationally thought What if it was an old classmate or old friend of mine? I mean, that really IS a SILLY thought, being that he probably taught English to many students and/or he wrote many articles that students are interested in or need to read for something. Who knows? I admit though, I do wonder what he is doing now...if he did marry that woman...where he works now...things like that. And I DID go through those Google.com search results AND did my own Yahoo search...but I really didn't discover much information about him or his writing. All I can say is...he really was the coolest professor...and he was SUCH a crush for me back in my freshman year of college in 1993.
And yes, a part of me (the silly school-girlish part) wants him to someday type in his own name in a search engine and discover that I have gushed and sort of immortalized him. Giggles.
