More Random Dissections Of Me.
-I really like making baby footprints on fogged up or frosted windows. I close my hand into a fist and press it against the glass. Then I make baby toes using my fingertip. It looks so sweet and real.
-I lay on a sofa or bed and look at the room upside-down. I pretend that it's how the room is really constructed. It's an alternate reality. The ceiling is the floor. The door is really a foot off the ground.
-I used to wear dark cherry red lipstick when I was a teenager. Now I go bare because I like the no-makeup freedom and besides, I like kissing my honeys.
-I wake up in the middle of night a few times a week so I can just relax and surf on the web.
-I like reading my old children's Highlights and Ranger Rick magazines.
-When I was around 7 or so, I first learned about war from my Aunt E. I couldn't sleep that night. I started crying and I went up to my mom late at night. She was sitting at the dining room table and I just told her I was scared of war. She comforted me, saying that it's not happening now where I lived. For a period of about a month after that night, I was still frightened about war. Every night I played with my dress-up Snoopy-girl doll and prayed that we would not die from war. Then, I got over that paranoid feeling and felt safe again.
