I just checked out other online journal sites (Diary-X and Livejournal). My goodness...they make me want to slap the side of my head and go HUH??? What the hell am I supposed to do??!!! I am serious too. Diary-X especially. Maybe I am just being a moronic idiot...but I do not think that trying to create the layout of your journal should be sooooo immensely difficult. I had no trouble with Diaryland really...it was mostly clear cut...easy to put your html in order...easy to manage everything...your entries...your pictures. Easy to change elements of your journal quickly. I found myself getting pretty confused at these other sites. I probably am a dumbass. Other people seemed to have no problems...many of the diaries at Diary-X were actually very gorgeous and creative. Oh well...I'll stick to Diaryland, thank you very much. You are tried and true...simpicity here is a godsend...simplicity that the user can make complex if he or she chooses too...and besides...I love all of you out there and your fabulous, thought-provoking journals. I am here to stay!
