I have been writing many more entries than I used to. I will be getting into learning html so I can revamp this diary into an actual webpage. It will be worth it for many reasons, but the best one is that I want a gorgeous webpage that says "'TIS ME darlings!!!"
It's crazy..all throughout my school days, I was terrified of the computer. This was the TANDY computer and DOS days. I had a computer phobia...going near one made me nervous since I didn't know how to use one. The task of simply turning on the computer seemed daunting. I had computer classes, but they taught me nothing at all. All I can remember being taught were flow charts and stuff like that. And even that I didn't comprehend. Damn. I only became comfortable using the computer in 1997...when me and my brother got our first one. My very first visit online was to check out a Smashing Pumpkins website for lyrics and articles. I was in heaven!!! Then I started to visit AOL chatrooms. And that is when I met my M...in a music chatroom. To think my life really started in that chatroom...it's soooooooooooo amazing and weird and crazy. And absolutely lovely. If any of you have successful first-met-online relationships going on and want to talk about it, email me or sign my guestbook...I WILL get back to you. We all like to brag and yap away about our sweeties, right? {:O)
Now I want to learn more about computers...if I had a computer in college, I probably would have majored in Computer Programming. It's so interesting ...lots of work and learning involved...but it's also FUN. So, I am doing it on my own (with help from my honey of course). God knows I have plenty of time.
Oh, I have to say something quick about the Yankees and Mets, being that I am a New Yorker : I LOVE both teams (I don't care what anybody says...I love both of them dammit). However, I was hoping that the Mets would win. Why? They were the underdogs and haven't won a World Series since 1986. Yankees have won two years straight. And I must admit, the Yankees do have a big ego (and why shouldn't they?? --they are GOOD). I wanted the Mets to smoosh the Yankees...at least for this year. Heh. Oh well...maybe some other time I guess.
And for those who don't want to hear anymore about baseball, don't fret -- I'm shutting up. I don't like talking about baseball either. Hehehe.
